Teflon double-sided, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape allows users to fasten two substrates together easily and cost-effectively without using rivets, bolts or screws.

CS Hyde Company has introduced a Teflon (PTFE) Tape with adhesive on both sides (thin to thick gauge) Traditional Teflon Tape is only available with adhesive on one side, said Hyde to manufacturingtalk

The company has developed a new technology allowing it to produce Teflon Tape with pressure sensitive on both sides and up to 0.060in (1.5mm) thick. Double - Sided Teflon (PTFE) Tape allows users to fasten two substrates together easily and cost-effectively. Rivets, bolts, screws are not necessary. PTFE substrate has the same characteristics associated with Teflon including the following.

* Chemical resistance.
* Non-porous barrier.
* Extreme temperature resistance.
* High Dielectric Strength.
*3M acrylic adhesive on both sides enables attachment to other substrates.
*Adhesives are resistant to extreme temperatures and chemicals.
*Double-Sided Teflon (PTFE) tape is available from 0.005in to 0.060in (0.13mm-1.5mm) thick.
*A high bond adhesive is also available.
*The product is sold in rolls, sheets or custom die-cut shape.
Samples are available.

PVDF (Kynar) Film

PVDF (Kynar®, Solef®, Solef®) is strong and tough as reflected by its tensile properties and impact strength. Compared to many thermoplastics, PVDF (Kynar) has excellent resistance to creep and fatigue. It is flexible and transparent. Stable to UV & effects of weather; Low NBS smoke generation. PVDF has excellent transmittance of solar energy.

Temperatures up to 265F; VTM-0 UL94 Rating; Excellent Chemical Resistance. Uses: Filters, Fuel Cell Seals, Medical bags, Diaphragms, Release Films, Piezoelectric films, Chemical Resistant Tank Linings. Possible substitute for Tedlar®. We stock .003" through .020" PVDF film. No minimums. Sold by the lineal foot. Slit rolls and Die-cut parts available. Also available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive.

FREE SAMPLES available.

(17 June 2008)-Polyvinylidene fluoride resin is strong, tough
CS Hyde's Kynar polyvinylidene fluoride thermoplastics resin has excellent resistance to creep and fatigue, yet it is flexible and transparent.

(30 May 2008)-PTFE coated belts save energy
C S Hyde is offering PTFE coated belting, which in comparison with stainless steel or plastics products, reduce energy savings, claimed the company.

(28 March 2008)-Teflon adhesive tape is double-sided
Teflon double-sided, presure-sensitive adhesive tape allows users to fasten two substrates together easily and cost-effectively without using rivets, bolts or screws.

(15 May 2007)-UHMW sticks to difficult-to-bond surfaces
UHMW High Bond (HB) Tape has all the benefits of strong, slippery, abrasion-resistant UHMW (ultra-high molecular weight) polyethylene tape, plus a super-high bond adhesive.

(20 December 2006)-PTFE beading or miniature cord added
CS Hyde has announced the addition of PTFE (Teflon) beading, also known as miniature cord or rod.

(3 July 2006)-Thick PTFE tape has more strength
PTFE tape is 'fat' or thicker than usual with thicknesses well above the thin gauge standard product offering for applications where thin Teflon tapes are not enough.

(23 May 2006)-Pressure sensitive adhesive tape resists heat
PEEK tape with pressure sensitive adhesive is 'super-tough', strong, flexible and resistant to very high temperatures and chemicals, coupled with friction and wear and heat resistant properties.

(7 March 2005)-Film tape has pressure sensitive adhesive
Kynar film tape with pressure sensitive adhesive allows for ease of application, bonding, positioning and fastening the tape to other substrates.

(2 December 2004)-Pressure sensitive tapes resist heat, chemicals
Pressure sensitive adhesive tapes using Crystalline PEEK Film are super-tough, strong, flexible and resistant to very high temperatures and chemicals.
