-Black UHMW Properties THIN GAUGE  (.003 to .020")

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Black UHMW film is skived from UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) that has been compounded with a small amount of carbon to render it black and semi-conductive, producing a "windowless", truly opaque film. The carbon also provides UV resistance.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Wear surface where high abrasion resistance is required, such as the outer covering on hoses for severe service applications. It is also used as an anti-squeak tape for automotive and other mechanical applications.
