Product K5-05 is manufactured from extra strength para-arimid (Kevlar®) fiber cloth impregnated with a dispersion of anti-static PTFE.  This tape has a high temperature, Pressure Sensitive Silicone Adhesive.  This anti-static product is Black and provides protection from UV damage.  Resistivity of K5-05 is 10-6  ohms/square.  K5-05 is specifically designed to resist abrasion and provide added strength in high temperature wrapping applications.  This product is used where standard fiberglass cloth does not provide adequate chemical resistance and/or low friction release.  K5-05 Anti-Stat PTFE Para-arimid cloth provides strength, flexibility, slip, chemical resistance & UV stabilization in harsh environments where standard fiberglass harness wraps commonly wear out.  PTFE also provides “lubricity” to harness wrapping and raises the high temperature resistance range.

 Applications: K5-05 is specifically designed to resist abrasion and provide added strength in high temperature wrapping applications.  This product is used where standard fiberglass cloth does not provide adequate chemical resistance and/or low friction release.
