Product Description:
Silicone exhibits a wish list of characteristics including superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, high tensile strength, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, and easy fabrication.  It also possesses excellent UV and ozone resistance.  Silicone is odorless, tasteless and non-toxic.  It offers high compressibility with a low compression set.

Common Applications:
Fiberglass reinforced silicone sponge is an excellent material for gasketing applications.  The fiberglass gives it dimensional stability, which also helps in cutting close tolerance parts.  Fiberglass Reinforced Silicone sponge can be used for insulating and cushioning electronic assemblies.  It can also be used for gaskets, seals, belting, air filters, and diaphragms, thermal shielding.  This silicone sponge can also be used in furnace or boiler rooms, electrical boxes, high heat, high intensity lighting and after burners.
