Teflon® High Bond Tape
With High Bond Adhesive

Teflon® High Bond (HB) tape has all the benefits of great dielectric strength, friction, chemical & water resistant plus a super-high bond adhesive. Teflon® High Bond is an excellent choice for applications which require adhesion to difficult-to-bond, low surface energy surfaces like plastics, powder-coats, foams, and oily metals. Teflon® High Bond tape even sticks to slippery surfaces like Teflon® PTFE, acrylic, PE, UHMW, polyprop, PET, etc.

High Bond Adhesive is a 3M high-strength, high tack, chemical-resistant acrylic product. The bond strength of this 3M adhesive increases with time and temperature. High humidity has minimal effect on adhesive performance. In general, bond strength is higher after exposure for 7 days at 90F and 90% relative humidity.

Teflon® High Bond tape is water resistant. It can be immersed in water with no appreciable effect on the bond strength. Bond strength generally tends to increase after exposure to humidity, temperature and cycling. This tape resists many chemicals: gasoline, oil, Freon™ TF, sodium chloride solution, mild acid & alkalis & more. Teflon® HB Tape is UV and weather resistant Use indoors or outdoors. Film* is approved is FDA and USDA approved for Food Contact; RoHS compliant. Temperature range is -40° to +300° F.

Teflon® High Bond Tape is available in many film thicknesses: .010", .020", .030", .060", .090" and .125". Adhesive is .002" thick. Standard Widths are .5", .75, 1", 2", 6" , 12". Max width is 36". Rolls are 5 yards long. Custom widths, thicknesses and lengths are also available. CS Hyde Company can custom die-cut Teflon® HB into labels, discs, squares, etc. Send us your drawing if you have a custom shape in mind.

Color is off white; peel off liner is a tan polycoated kraft paper. Teflon® High Bond can be die cut, scissor cut, knife cut, sheeted.
