"Fat" Teflon® (PTFE) Tape: The unique aspect of this PTFE Tape is that it is "Fat", with thickness well above the thin gauge standard product offering.  "FAT" PTFE is available in unique thicknesses rarely available on the market:   .020" through .125" thick.  Pure Non-reinforced Teflon® (PTFE) Tape has pressure sensitive adhesive on one side.  It is specifically designed for applications where thin Teflon® tapes are not enough.  Fat PTFE has the heft, density and mass that make it very desirable for applications where thicker materials are required. Fat PTFE has all the other excellent characteristics associated with standard PTFE tapes:
