The 17-407 and 17-409 Series are aluminum foil/fiberglass fabric laminates with a high temperature silicone adhesive. The foil provides superior conductive and reflective characteristics in high temperature applications. The silicone adhesive demonstrates excellent adhesion at elevated temperatures yet it will remove cleanly.

The 17-411 Series is a heavy-duty (4 mil) aluminum foil/glass laminate w/ a high temperature silicone adhesive. The aluminum foil provides excellent reflective and conductive characteristics in high temperature applications. The silicone adhesive demonstrates excellent adhesion at elevated temperatures yet it will remove cleanly.

Performance & Application Information:

17-407 and 17-409 foil tapes are used for masking purposes in plasma flame spray applications. These tapes work best where heat reflection and conduction are needed. They can also be used in applications that require heat shielding, such as harness wraps. 17-411 has been specifically designed for use in High Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) spraying applications.
