PVDFStick
Tape with pressure sensitive adhesive
is an exclusive CS Hyde Tape. PVDFStick
Tape is made with Kynar®, Solef®
film with an Acrylic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive for ease of
application, positioning and fastening.
PVDFStick
Tape offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance and has a high
tensile strength.
PVDFStick
has good thermal stability and can be used in applications up to 300°F.
Kynar®, Solef® (PVDF) has extremely high purity which makes it a good candidate
for food applications. When specified, Kynar 740 FILM complies with FDA
regulation 21 CFR 177.510, USDA, USP XX Class VI, 3A sanitary standards
and meets ASTM D3222 resin specifications.
PVDFStick
Tape also possesses
high impact resistance and is tough and durable. PVDFStick
is Clear with a Peel-off liner.
PVDF (Kynar ®) is strong and tough as reflected by its tensile properties and impact strength. Compared to many thermoplastics, PVDF (Kynar ®) has excellent resistance to creep and fatigue, yet in thin sections such as films, PVDF (Kynar ®) components are flexible and transparent. Kynar ® Film is stable to UV and the effects of weather. In cold, heat, sunlight and humidity Kynar®, Solef® Film does not wear out or get brittle. Kynar®, Solef® has low NBS smoke generation and superior LOI.

Tape can be supplied with high tack adhesives. Acrylic Adhesive offers
good adhesion, chemical and environmental resistance. Tape has a
peel-away liner.
PVDFStick
Tapes are available in with .005" or .010" Kynar®, Solef® film thickness.
Other thicknesses are available on a custom basis.
PVDFStick
Tape is semi-transparent and relatively colorless.
Product Series is #32-_A
(Acrylic) Widths can be cut from narrow to wide.
PVDFStick
can also be die cut into custom shapes or sheeted by-the-foot.

Out gassing: PVDF (Kynar ®) exhibits extremely low weight loss when exposed to high vacuum.
Light Transmittance: Where opacity and transparency of films are important, light transmission can be a determining factor for the proper film choice. Light transmittance=93%, Film Only. Light Transmittance With Adhesive has not yet been determined but is expected to test very well.
Permeability to Gases: PVDF (Kynar ®) film = Low permeability to water vapor & various other gases.
