Product Description: |
|
The 17- 410 Series is a blue silicone rubber
– coated glass fabric with a high temperature SILICONE
adhesive. The silicone rubber is tough and abrasion
resistant to withstand temperatures up to 500ºF and grit
blasting impact. The silicone adhesive demonstrates
excellent adhesion at elevated temperatures yet it will
remove cleanly. |
|
Performance & Application Information: |
|
This tape is used as a masking tape in plasma
flame spraying. It is excellent for preventing bridging
that occurs as metallization progresses. It also provides
protection from over spraying and splash in the coating
process. |

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION |
|
These products are pressure sensitive tapes
produced from laminates "double-ply" of
silicone rubber, fiberglass cloth, aluminum foil,
and coated with a high temperature silicone
adhesive. |
|
APPLICATION INFORMATION |
|
These products are used as masking tapes in
plasma flame spraying when a single ply tape
will not provide sufficient protection. The
double-ply construction eliminates the need for
two hand lay-up operation, thus saving labor
costs during masking.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION |
|
497 is a
white silicone rubber-coated fiberglass fabric with a high
temperature silicone adhesive. The silicone rubber is tough
and abrasion resistant to withstand high temperatures and
grit blasting impact. The silicone adhesive provides
excellent adhesion at high temperatures yet will remove
cleanly. |
|
APPLICATION
INFORMATION |
|
This tape is
used as a masking tape in plasma flame spraying. 497 is a
one step masking tape used both in the "grit blast" and
"plasma spray" process all in one masking application. It is
very good in preventing bridging during the metallization
process. |

Product Description |
|
Plasma
Masking Tape 500 is a one-step plasma masking tape made of a
silicone rubber/fiberglass cloth backing coated with an
aggressive high-temperature SILICONE adhesive. |
Performance & Application Information:
|
|
It will
withstand the grit blast and plasma coating process and will
remove cleanly. P/N 500 has a higher tack than other plasma
masking tapes which allows it to easily conform to the most
complex shapes of the Aircraft Industry. It also has
improved “drape” characteristics and increased flexibility. |
